Time Zone Converter – Convert Time Between UTC Offsets

Convert a time from one time zone to another using UTC offsets. Enter the time (hours and minutes), the source offset, and the target offset. Useful for scheduling calls and meetings across regions.

Time Zone Converter

Convert time between UTC offsets. Use hours (e.g. -5 for EST, +1 for CET).

How conversion works

Convert source time to UTC by subtracting the source offset. Then add the target offset to get the time in the target zone. Example: 14:00 in UTC+1 = 13:00 UTC = 08:00 in UTC-5 (EST).

Working across time zones

Remote work and global teams make time zone conversion essential. A 9 AM meeting in New York (EST, UTC-5) is 2 PM in London (GMT, UTC+0) and 11 PM in Tokyo (JST, UTC+9). This calculator uses UTC offsets in hours; half-hour zones like India (UTC+5:30) can be entered as 5.5.

Daylight saving time shifts offsets by one hour in many regions. When converting, use the offset that applies on the date in question. The calculator does not store time zone names or DST rules; it performs pure offset arithmetic. For precise conversions with named zones and DST, use a dedicated world clock or calendar app.
